If There is a Fourth Wall of Blogging To Be Broken, I Suppose This Would Be It.

~

for some reason (it certainly can’t be modesty) i have consistently forgotten to mention that i will be doing a reading tomorrow evening, at Dépanneur Le Pick Up, with fellow sketchbag, Julian Evans:

Tuesday, April 18th, 7-9pm.
Le Pick up
7032 Waverly
(corner Alexandra, metro De Castelnau)

JULIAN EVANS returns to Montreal to launch the seventh issue of his long-running and awesome ONE WAY TICKET zine, featuring stories of a year long sojourn in Pittsburgh that are both bittersweet and triumphant. A former resident of St. Henri, Julian currently lives in Guelph, where he operates a letterpress shop.

JONAH CAMPBELL, creator of low-budget food blog “Still Crapulent After all These Years” makes his reading debut at Depanneur Le Pick Up. Equal parts food critic and punk rocker,* Jonah’s best work will be collected in the book FOOD & TREMBLING, forthcoming from Invisible Publishing in Fall 2011.**

i don’t know if you can see this, but here’s the fb event.
if you’ve never been to Le Pick up, i cannot recommend hearitly enough their vegetarian pulled pork and grilled halloum sandwiches, both respectively and in mashed-togetherness.

~

* i am not actually equal parts food critic and punk rocker, that is a missprint.
** i do actually have a book coming out. more soon.

for the record i’m really bummed to be missing your reading. when your book comes out i’m gonna buy it and make you read parts of it aloud to me.
