1. crush garlic (just with the flat of the blade, or like, yr meaty little fist) before you peel it, then chop the rough bit off. makes it a jillion times easier to peel.

2. ditto for olives. almost any kind. just mash that shit down, it basically pits itself.

3. wine goes in everything.

4. buy your mozzarella from a cheese shop. i don’t mean fancy fior di latte or buffalo mozzarella, i mean regular mozzarella. it will cost you about the same as the shit from IGA, and actually taste good. i’m very excited about this.

5. you pretty much need both of the elements in your oven to work bake cookies. what a goddamn day.
